Anjali Pollack Design is a Manhattan-based, luxury residential design firm servicing a global clientele.
Our philosophy is that every project is a creative collaboration led by the client’s vision. Through the innovative use of custom details, inventive materials, and lighting, we design elegant, tailor-made interiors that exude a restrained glamour. We deliver a sophisticated and functional aesthetic that evolves alongside the lives of our clients.
As a boutique company dedicating a high degree of time and professional commitment to each project, we consciously limit the number of active clients in our portfolio at any given time. We offer a turnkey service, handling design, decoration, construction, and project management. We provide a bespoke styling-only design service as well.
ANJALI POLLACK
Anjali Pollack founded her firm in 2004. Born in Bombay, India, Anjali moved to New York to study Interior Design at FIT and never left! Inspired by the melting pot culture of the two metropolis’ she calls home and constant travels with her family, her style is glamorous and global. She loves working together as part of a team and believes that the collaboration of creative, smart minds is the force behind every project. She sees her role akin to that of an interpreter- absorbing the client’s cues and translating those uniquely into each home.
A lover of the arts, she enjoys visiting museums and galleries, and watching live performance. Always looking for the next find she loves antique stores, off the beaten track places and markets all over the world. Obsessed with tabletop, accessories, flowers, and styling, she loves to entertain at home with family and friends.
Deeply committed to improving Education and Mental Health, Anjali co-founded the SCA Charitable Foundation with her husband, Michael Pollack in 2009. https://www.scacharitablefoundation.org. A die-hard New Yorker, she lives on the Upper West Side with her husband and two sons.

SHANNON GALLAGHER
Shannon is an actor and writer from North Carolina and has been with Anjali Pollack Design since 2021. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she moved to New York to attend acting school. When the arts shut down in 2020, she miraculously stumbled into this job through a mutual friend. She has found passion in Interior Design with the close-knit team here while continuing her work in the arts in New York.
In her very little spare time, Shannon loves to try new restaurants around the city and take in all the arts and culture there is to offer.

MELISSA URSINI
Born and raised in Westchester, Melissa Ursini is a New Yorker through and through. After getting her Bachelor’s degree at FIT in New York City, she decided to stay in the city she knows best, and loves the most! She feels that residential design is the most effective way a designer can flex their creativity, while simultaneously having a positive impact on a person’s life.
When not at work, you can find Melissa in a hole-in-the-wall Brooklyn thrift store, watercolor painting in Prospect Park, or on her endless quest to find NYC’s best Margarita!

FATIMA SHAKIL
Fatima graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from Stony Brook University 2014. She began working with Anjali Pollack Design as a graduate student a decade ago and has been with the team ever since. Working in Interior Design has provided a great platform for her to practice Art & Design simultaneously.
A gregarious people person, Fatima loves the interactions with vendors, partners and clients alike. She lives in the suburbs of Charlotte with her family and works remotely with Anjali Pollack Design, a quick email away!
